Matching Gems2 is a match-three game with a Chinese twist. In this game, you should click on three crystals of the same color, in order to clear them from the board. The crystals above the disappearing ones will occupy the empty spaces left. There are some gems that should be collected by clearing crystals. Every level has a number of gems that should be freed to proceed to the next level. During the game, certain crystals will contain some power ups, that would be effective when you form a group with that crystal and any other two crystals. For example, the Maze power up will clear all the crystals surrounding it. As you advance through levels, you will have to deal with new difficulties, such as wood tiles, that can't be removed by clicking on them, but will disappear when you clear the crystals around them. Between certain levels you will have to play some puzzle mini-games that will give you extra points. You can play this game in Quest Mode, Puzzle Mode or Add-Ons Mode. In the Puzzle Mode there are no gems, and the grouped crystals won't disappear. In the Add-Ons mode you will have to connect crystals containing the "Paper, Rock, Scissors" symbols.
